This reminds me of Shanghai, my hometown, and I really appreciate for the lady in our church who generously shared this recipe with me.

Spare ribs from Grocery Store, ask the butcher to cut 1/3 in width
Separate individual ribs by bone joint
Drain the blood
Put all ribs into a frying pan
For each pound of ribs, add 3 teaspoons of soy sauce (low in sodium), 3 teaspoons of vinegar, 3 teaspoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cooking wine (rice wine)
Cover the frying pan with lid
Cook in Medium-low heat for thirty to forty minutes till meat become soft
Open the lid, and turn the heat on High for five minutes when all meat start to have a shiny coating
Put in a plate, dress with your favorite vegetable on side, serve warm.

Enjoy!
