Norway– a land of natural beauty
I am working on a photo book of our trip to Oslo. Going through pictures of wild flower, forest, fjord and skies, I am once again reminded of Norway being a land of natural beauty. The statues and architectures are living pieces that breathe peace and tranquility among all things. More than the landscape alone, the people living in the country become part of the land itself. It is still in my vivid memory that a man on the bus just helped me to get my stroller on without being asked and even walked away without being thanked for. An African guy who operated an Internet Cafe and sold us phone cards even lent us his phone so we could use the card immediately. An officer at Oslo police station called the director of immigration countless times, smiling, gently explaining my situation so I could get a visa extension. Within the modern society when materials and things become essentials of life, I am reminded of the beauty of the nature and the beauty of humanity, which, are core to a beautiful life.
